I really love my ring, and I really love Allan!

Finals are fast approaching, Allan and I are working on moving back to the peninsula in 16 days, we are trying to find a place to live, I am trying to work out my financial aid mess, make sure I am admitted and signed up for classes, Allan has the flu....... The list goes on! It is stressful, but I know I will power through, and everything will work out!

Busy, busy, busy

Wow, it has already been a month since I have posted! I had hoped to be a little more regular than this, but I have been swamped and stressed with my anatomy and physiology class. Much more fast-paced than I am used to. Right now we are dissecting cats. I hate the smell of the preservatives used in dissection animals- instant headache! Also, why cats?! Why can't we dissect something normal, like frogs?? Next week ,we will be dissecting cats as well as a sheep's brain.

It is hard to believe that I will be home for Thanksgiving in 5 days. When I went home to visit it October, it seemed like it would be forever till I saw my family again! Soon, I can see them almost whenever I want; Allan and I decided to move back to the peninsula for the next semester of school! It will be much cheaper for us, less cold, less dark, and family is much, much closer!

In 5 days, I will be home. In 23 days, I will be 19. In 28 days, the semester will be over. In 30 days, we will be all moved out of Fairbanks! I am so excited for the upcoming events and changes. This is my adventure!

First Post

I recently dedided to start blogging, mostly because I have always wanted to blog. I think a blog will help me unwind during the week, and it will also help me become a better writer. Also, my bestfriend's mom blogs(yay, I just figured out how to add a link!), and she has inspired me to start blogging

I am not sure the direction I am going to take yet. Maybe I will just write as things come to mind, maybe I will post a picture and write a little about the relevance, and maybe it will be a little of both.

These are my two best friends, Rusty and Brooke. We have been through quite a lot together, and I cherish them. We are always there for each other, and we work as a team when we need support. I was reminded of this when Brooke called a few days back to thank Rusty and me for helping her when she needed us most. A year ago, her dad was diagnosed with lung cancer. When Brooke found out, she called me, I called Rusty, Rusty called Brooke. It was quite the chain reaction, and all of a sudden, it became very real how close we all really were( or I guess still are!). I love my best friends like family, and I would do anything for them!

Currently, Rusty and I are in Fairbanks going to college. Brooke is coming to visit in 33 days, and I am so, so, so excited! We are going to have a blast. Hopefully next year, she will come to college here, too.
